Over the next year residents will be able to get their pets (dogs and cats) spayed or neutered , for between $10-25 (although it usually cost $75-125).
Starting next month vouchers will become available for this discounted service.
Mid-South Spay and Neuter Services (MSNS), a local non-profit pet clinic, will soon be entering the Heights thanks to a grant from Give 365. MSNS working with the Heights CDC, was able to land a Give365 grant award to come into the Heights and offer affordable “fixing” or “sterilization” services.
Why is it important?
By fixing the Heights’pets, it will dramatically reduce the amount of stray dogs in the neighborhood by limiting the amount of animals capable of producing unwanted or unclaimed litters.
So Heights, even if your pets are not excited, you should be. Get in touch, and get your pet taken care of, the neighborhood will thank you.
