The Memphis Office of Community Affairs is offering a 2013 Certified Neighborhood Leader Training. This FREE program includes five monthly sessions designed to provide established and emerging neighborhood leaders with the tools needed to create positive change in their neighborhood.
The first session will be all about neighborhood organizing – learn how to rally your neighbors together around shared goals to create positive change in the community.
Good community organizing is vital to the overall health and well-being of our people. If we want good schools and safe, clean streets we need to learn how to make that happen! One voice is a whisper but 1,000 voices is a roar.
This Thursday, March 21st from 6 -8 pm. Meetings will be held at The Office of Community Affairs, 315 S. Hollywood.
